Instruction for On-site Presentation

Oral Presentation 

Prepare Your Presentation 

Each oral presentation is limited to 20 minutes including questions and answers (Q&As). Length of the presentation material should be commensurate within the allocated time. You are requested to load your PowerPoint presentation materials before the sessions start. 

Determine Your Audio-Visual needs

 All meeting rooms are equipped with the following audio-visual equipment: 

  • One Projector 
  • One Screen 

There will be no laptop provided in the presentation room. You are required to bring your own laptop for presentation. Please ensure that your laptop is able to connect to a HDMI cable. No adaptor will be provided. 

Spotlight Presentation 

Prepare Your Presentation 

Each spotlight presentation is limited to 5 minutes. Length of the presentation material should be commensurate within the allocated time. You are requested to load your PowerPoint presentation materials before the sessions start. 

Determine Your Audio-Visual needs 

All meeting rooms are equipped with the following audio-visual equipment: 

  • One Projector 
  • One Windows-based PC 
  • One Screen 

The computers in the meeting rooms are being provided to Windows-based PC users. The PC will be configured with Microsoft Windows operating system as well as with Microsoft Office. 

Create a Backup Copy of Your Presentation 

Please save your presentation on a USB and we recommend you bring at least 2 copies of your presentation to the meeting in case there is a problem with one of them.

Give Your Presentation 

Be considerate of the other speakers and audience by staying within your allocated time. The allocated time for your presentation includes a discussion and changeover to the next speaker. Session Chairs will hold you to the allotted time. This is essential to ensure adequate time for questions and discussions as well as adherence to the schedule.

Poster Presentation

Please ensure that your poster will be in A0 size, portrait mode (Height: 1189mm, Width: 841mm) in order to fit onto the poster board. Please paste your poster based on your allocated poster ID, within the allocated timeslot.
